Children join Scouts at 10½ and leave at 14 years old. The children work for a number of challenges and proficiency badges with the ultimate achievement being the Chief Scouts Gold Award. There are a number of camps throughout the year and the opportunity to try numerous activities such as canoeing, cycling, caving, archery, shooting, cooking, surfing, skiing and hiking.
